Fort Lauderdale and Miami bariatric surgeon Dr. Matei completed his General Surgery residency at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens and completed a clinical fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery & Bariatrics right here in Florida at the Cleveland Clinic. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and combines an international education with several years of experience in the private practice of bariatrics.
