Who would benefit from a ThreadLift?

Generally, the best candidates for a thread facelift are men and women, 30-60 years of age, who are beginning to experience sagging in the cheeks, brow, jowls or neck area, but do not want traditional brow lifts, facelifts or neck lifts.

The procedure is not recommended for patients who have uncontrolled medical illnesses, are grossly overweight (with heavy faces) or are exceedingly thin, with loose skin. It is also not recommended for those with unrealistic expectations.

How does the procedure work?

Tiny, clear, cogged sutures are inserted under the skin and looped around underlying fatty tissues of the brow, cheek, corner of the mouth, jowl or neck. Another set of barbed threads is run under the skin towards the hairline and tightened to lift and support drooping tissue of the cheeks, jowls, neck or brows. The ThreadLift can achieve 60-70% of the effects of invasive surgical procedures like the traditional facelift, brow lift or neck lift.

How long does it take?

The thread facelift usually takes an hour or less and can be performed in your physician's office under local anesthesia. There is little or no downtime, so you can return to normal activities almost immediately.

How long do the results last?

Without any additional treatments, results of the ThreadLift last from 3-5 years. However, the aging process continues, so the LoopLift™ component of the ThreadLift is adjustable and can be repeated as needed.

How can I prolong the effects of the thread facelift?

One of the most effective ways to maintain your thread facelift is to periodically repeat the LoopLift treatment. During follow-up procedures, this enhancement is performed where the original ThreadLift suture was fastened. It is simply tightened to restore the original lift effects.
